SUCES (Sydney University Chemical Engineering Society) aims to bring together students within the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering by hosting various fun social and networking events during the year. These events is to not only introduce and maintain a sense of community between students and staff, but also to provide opportunities for professional development through networking events.

Apart from the weekly BBQs that are run, providing members an opportunity to catch up at least once a week, some of the events that feature on the calendar include Trivia, Games Night and Job-Hunting 101 in Semester 1. Job-Hunting 101 is student-run seminar regarding interview and CV-writing skills. In Semester 2, there is the Cocktail Night is a networking evening, which invites both students and guests from industry to socialise and network. The society also organises an Industry site-visit trip to various companies in Melbourne for third year students every year in Semester 2.

We encourage everybody, even if you don’t study Chemical Engineering, to get involved at our social events.
