The Mechanical Undergraduates' Society, or MUGS, is the society for students in the school of mechanical engineering and anyone who enjoys the mechanical applications of engineering.

MUGS exists for students. Its purpose is to provide study and leisure facilities to further the enjoyment and reduce the stresses associated with university life.

We run a weekly $2 lunch in the Purcell room for all students, while toast, tea/coffee, clean water and cordial are provided throughout the week as a free service to make the Mechanical common room (Purcell room) a more enjoyable place to study and relax. Join us for lunch on the Purcell balcony each week and meet your fellow mech heads.
